Edina Wedding Planner & Florist

The Petal is the full-service wedding design house at 50th & France. Planning, event design, and custom florals live under one roof at 5029 France Ave S — in our owner's own neighborhood — which means the team designing your wedding is the same boutique your guests walk past on a Saturday morning. Book all three, or just the piece you need: planning only, florals only, or the whole seamless day.

Named Best of Edina, a Minnesota Bride Best of honoree, and a four-time Best of Weddings winner on The Knot, where couples rate us 4.9 out of 5.

Planning, design & florals for Edina and Lake Minnetonka weddings

Florals. Custom, garden-style designs — bridal bouquets, ceremony arches, aisle meadows, cake florals, and the statement installations your guests will still be talking about a year later. No standard packages; your story sets the palette.

Event design. The whole mood: candlelight, linens, spatial layout, and lighting layered onto your venue so every inch of the room feels cohesive and intentional.

Full-service planning. The invisible logistics — complex timelines, vendor coordination, on-site troubleshooting — handled by the calmest team in the room, so you can stay present and be the guest of honor at your own celebration.

Full-service weddings begin at $10,000, planning at $5,000, and à la carte florals start at $225 with no minimum. Already have a planner? We happily design florals on their team too.

We work across Edina, Wayzata, Orono, Deephaven, and the Lake Minnetonka communities, and we know the rooms: from the Lafayette Club on Lake Minnetonka to Hutton House, Mill City Museum, and the Saint Paul Hotel.

Kind words

"From the cake meadow, to the ceremony arch, centerpieces, bouquets and growing aisle, each piece was lush and stunning."

— P.G., Google review

"Even when we realized we were somehow missing one bridesmaid bouquet mid-photos on our wedding day, Tajalli was quick to fix and whipped up another one."

— Kaylee W., The Knot

"We received so many compliments on not only the table decor but do not even get me started on the dance floor installation."

— W.Z., Google review

How it works

Consultation. We start with your vision, be it Pinterest boards, a color, a feeling, or "I have no idea, help." All are welcome; two of the kindest reviews we have ever received started with "I didn't know what I wanted."

Design. You receive a detailed proposal and style board, so you see the wedding before you commit to it. Changes are part of the process to bring your vision to life.

The day. We deliver, install, and style on site. We hand personals to the wedding party, place the ceremony pieces, and gracefully handle takedown.
